SfA Tracking Infant Development Charts

The tracking development charts are designed to allow therapists and parents to track an infant's progress collaboratively over time.

The tracking gross motor development charts

Track an infant's development as a series of steps or tasks that need to be mastered along the four gross motor pathways: supine, from prone to crawling, the development of sitting and the development of standing and cruising.

The tasks are illustrated, with a brief description of the task mastery and the age range at which the task is achieved. The different tasks and age ranges are based on the Alberta Infant Motor Scales.
